Meursault 2006

The year 2006 was marked by a flash of heat at the end of the growing season, which helped produce very ripe grapes. As a result, we have a lively and expressive nose with a mix of white flowers (acacia, seringa) and exotic fruits (mango, passion fruit). Fresh and pure with a mellowness typical of Meursault, this wine boasts a full mouth with a lingering finish.

Meursault 2005

Citrus fruit – layered with hints of honey and rose and some subtle smokiness – opens the olfactory experience. On the palette, the acidity in this wine helps express the qualities of the mellowness of Chardonnay. It is well balanced and lively yet elegant and pure with complex aromas too. This is undeniably and above all a Meursault! Kept in proper storage conditions, both wines will age nicely over the next 10 years and will continue to develop their aromatic palettes.

Corton Rouge Grand Cru 2008

Ruby red in colour with soft, young tannins and a fruit forward nose revealing subtle hints of ripe black cherry. Lightly oaked with a purity classic of the 2008s. This is not a powerful Corton that one might find on the east-facing slopes of the same appellation but a wine full of elegance and finesse, typical of a Corton rouge from the south-facing slopes. Don't rush this wine; every minute that it stands in the glass reveals more of its underlying complexity. To fully express itself, additional bottle ageing could be used. Drink from 2013 to 2020.
